Do you know about our annual event Stars in Our Schools?
Nationally UNISON organises the day to give recognition to the wonderful work they do every day and to make sure the world knows just how vital they are to children’s education. This campaign to highlights the great work support staff in our schools do on a day to day basis. We are looking for a Super-Star in our Derby City Schools.
We hope to hold tea parties and celebrations in schools, with one very special celebration on Friday 27 November 2015 in the school of our winner.
To do this, we need your help to organise the parties and to find that special colleague of yours who has been a real star at school over the past year.

How to Nominate someone for Stars in our Schools
Criteria:
- The Nominated person must be a UNISON member
- The Nominated person can be any member of support staff
- The Closing date for nominations is Friday 20 November 2015.

The panel will choose their Super Star and the Head teacher will be informed of the winner on Thursday 26 November 2015.
There will be a celebration in the winner’s school, with an award, cake and Spa Voucher for the winner on Friday 27th November 2015.
