We have received complaints with regard to the Staff Car Parking Proposals communication sent out today by the employer being a veiled threat that other ways of recovering the shortfall needs to be found.
This communication was not agreed by UNISON nor did we agree the content, I have raised this with the employer and sought clarification.
Please be reassured that UNISON will not agree to any changes to your terms and conditions without continuing to consult with you on any further proposals the employer might table.
Currently we have not met with the employer since UNISON members overwhelmingly rejected the employers proposals and agreed that they will be willing to take some form of industrial action.
We are not at this point yet and are hoping to sit down with the employer sometime in June.
We would welcome any further input from members including any ideas or thoughts on how this can be resolved.
