Dear Member,
UNISON is now in the position to share with you the results of the consultative ballot conducted from 15th April closing at midday on the 3rd May 2019 with regard to the employers proposals around Staff Car Parking Charges.
The results show that 2/3rds of UNISON members returned their ballot forms with 99% voting to reject the employers proposals and willing to engage in some form of Industrial Action with 1% voting to accept the proposals.
We have notified the employer and are still awaiting a response, until we meet with the employer again there should be no changes to the current Staff Car Parking arrangements.
We will be in touch with you again when we have further information to share, in the meantime please come and see us at our drop in sessions (see below ) or email unison@derby.gov.uk if you have any comments you would like us to raise in any further negotiations.
