Message of Solidarity from the NUT

Heres an important message of solidarity from the National Union of Teachers General Secretary:

On behalf of the National Union of Teachers in England and Wales, we send the members of Unison working as support staff in Derby a message of solidarity and support for their brave and robust stance against their management’s proposals to move staff to term-time only contracts. These draconian proposals by management will hurt not only the staff but will have a direct impact on the pupils in their care.

Please pass on our best wishes of support to Unison members and wish them success with their dispute.

General Secretary
