October Important Update – Terms & Conditions and Legal Advice

In last week’s bulletin to UNISON members we stated we would update on the two important aspects which we are involved with this week.

Request to Paul Robinson, CEO, to delay implementation of T&C’s to allow us more time to assess the impact of the change and for schools to be able to prepare for this change.
The legal advice we have sought and what the response from this is.

Following a written request to the employer, we met with the employer side on Monday 19 October where this request was discussed.

Pay And Reward Update – 19 October 2015

We met with the employer side today and they have agreed to consider the proposals set out in our letter to Paul Robinson. In the meantime, Nicole Berrisford and Adrian Morgan will be meeting with UNISON’s legal team tomorrow and we shall update you as soon as possible.

Do you know about our annual event Stars in Our Schools?

Nationally UNISON organises the day to give recognition to the wonderful work they do every day and to make sure the world knows just how vital they are to children’s education. This campaign to highlights the great work support staff in our schools do on a day to day basis. We are looking for a Super-Star in our Derby City Schools.
