Email your councillors about the Trade Union Bill

Could you help in the campaign to protect our right to support at work? If you live in England or Wales we’d like you to email your local councillors about the Trade Union Bill.

This Bill will severely restrict working people’s ability to organise to defend their jobs and pay and to campaign for a fairer society. And it could be law by February 2016 unless we act now.

UNISON is campaigning against it because we believe MPs should be focusing on the real problems our country faces and working with everyone, including trade unions, to solve them, rather than taking away people’s right to be supported at work.

As you are aware UNISON locally have been heavily negotiating with your employer on their proposals on Pay and Terms & Conditions. We take these negotiations very seriously. To protect your employment interests and to ensure we are getting the best support for all UNISON members we are involving UNISON legal team at every stage.
