Thursday 28 April – 10:30am – 11:30am

St. Peter’s Church, Derby City Centre

A short service will be held to commemorate Worker’s Memorial Day, all welcome. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available afterwards.

“Strong Laws – Strong enforcement – Strong Unions”

Every year more people are killed at work than in wars. Most don’t die of mystery ailments, or in tragic “accidents”. They die because an employer decided their safety just wasn’t that important a priority. Workers’ Memorial Day (WMD) commemorates those workers. More information about the national event can be found here.. https://www.tuc.org.uk/wmd2016
