Demonstration against changes to Terms & Conditions for Derby City School Support Staff

Wednesday 4 November 2015 At 5pm

Please assemble outside the Council House at 5pm. Bring banners, whistles… anything to make our voices heard!

At 6pm we will present  a petition  with over 5000 signatures raised by our members to Derby City Council.

We are organising a demonstration outside the Council House to oppose the changes to Terms & Conditions for school support staff. If these changes go ahead they will see some staff lose 25% of their salary over night.

This is a FREE Workshop open to ALL STAFF, regardless of whether you are a member of UNISON or not and lunch will also be provided.

Special Keynote Speaker, Sarah Roelofs, UNISON’s Regional Equalities Officer will be answering questions, giving guidance and advice.

Do you know about our annual event Stars in Our Schools?

Nationally UNISON organises the day to give recognition to the wonderful work they do every day and to make sure the world knows just how vital they are to children’s education.  This campaign to highlights the great work support staff in our schools do on a day to day basis.  We are looking for a Super-Star in our Derby City Schools.
