As you are all aware, UNISON have been in negotiations with Derby City Council since Thursday 2nd March, working with the conciliation service, ACAS.
UNISON today met with school stewards to report on discussions. Those stewards have been forthright in representing your views and making sure that the team negotiating with the Council fully understands the way in which any solutions would impact on you.
We are at critical and sensitive stage in those negotiations, but we will be sure to let you know immediately if and when we have a firm, concrete and acceptable offer from the Council.
